Dealing with offers

You may receive offers yourself or may pass this to a solicitor to do for you. If you choose the latter then they will handle negotiations for you and will notify you of offers received. If you are doing this yourself you will need the following to pass on to your solicitor from the prospective buyer:
 

• List of items included in the sale
   
• Name, address and contact number of the buyer
   
• Name, address and contact number of the buyer’s solicitor (if applicable)

The next step will be for the buyer to survey your property in order to satisfy their mortgage lender, and once everything is agreed for missives to be signed. The latter will be handled by your solicitor.
